WHAT: Quick Fitness Solutions (QFS) will provide the aerobic warm-up activities for Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes, the signature fundraising event of the American Diabetes Association (ADA). QFS, which is working toward a goal to raise $1,000 for ADA, also will have a team of walkers in the event.

More than 23 million Americans are living with diabetes, according to ADA, a disease in which the body does not produce or properly use insulin — a hormone that is needed to convert sugar, starches and other food into energy needed for daily life. Some one million Georgians have diabetes, while one in three children in the United States faces the illness, ADA says.
